Business Development – Account Executive (Internal Sales)
Full-time | Monday–Friday
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially focused Account Executive (Internal Sales) to join our Business Development team. This desk-based role is central to supporting our customers, driving growth, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service.
About The Role
As the key internal point of contact for a defined customer base, you will:
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Manage opportunities through to completion, ensuring sales cycles are streamlined
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM system records
- Identify new sales opportunities, support upselling and cross-selling, and assist in customer onboarding
- Ensure smooth transitions for new customers, optimising their journey with Adler & Allan
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely, compliant, and effective solutions
- Support marketing activity, generate opportunities, and assist in scheduling appointments for field-based teams

Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer contact and logging all interactions in the CRM system
- Producing accurate quotations and estimates
- Supporting marketing campaigns and actively generating new business opportunities
- Handling incoming enquiries professionally to uncover sales potential
- Ensuring contracted services meet handover requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather job information and enhance reporting
- Generating and distributing account-based reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining relationships through calls, emails, and virtual meetings

- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with CRM/database systems
- Proven sales or account management experience
- Commercial awareness with a proactive, customer-focused mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing urgency with precision
- Experience in a service-led or environmental industry is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
