Based in Tamworth (B77 5PN), Soudal (UK) Ltd is one of the largest subsidiaries within the Soudal Group and currently looking for a Internal Sales Executive to join a growing customer service team, reporting to the Internal Sales Supervisor.

About the Role

To contribute to a thriving Sales and Customer Service Team, maximize sales opportunities, managing customer expectations effectively to improve the customer experience.

Key Areas of Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Handle inbound calls within set KPIs
  • Make outbound calls to generate new leads/business
  • Manage customer expectations by phone, email and other appropriate means of communication.
  • Use a proactive approach for the upselling of current promotions.
  • Collaborate with key account managers targeting market sectors to identify and generate New Business.
  • Qualifying prospects from initial enquiries generating new business leads to handover to the sales team, allocating the correct sales manager.
  • Communicating with customers to identify their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
  • Supporting sales with onboarding new business, follow up calls/feedback, identifying opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Support when required on Focus accounts
  • Maintain data, customer details, pricing, and general updates in CRM & SAP

Requirements (Competencies, skills, experience)

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach
  • Customer centric
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Work independently managing own workload
  • Capable of building strong working relationships
  • Target driven
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferably SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM Dynamics 365 experience
