Role: Internal sales and Order management engineer Location: Leeds Join our fast-growing industrial and renewables-focused manufacturing company in Leeds, UK, as an Internal Sales Engineer. Role Overview: As a vital member of our office sales technical team, you will be responsible for driving project support activities to meet the high standards set by our company, Flender, and fulfil customer expectations. This dynamic role involves managing supplier requests, costing, quoting, and order placement. You will need to work independently, collaborate effectively within the team, and take direction from project managers as needed. Responsibilities: Quotation Management: Prepare, review, and finalize customer quotations to ensure they are accurate and timely. Follow up and review the quotation with the customer. Order Review: Collaborate with stakeholders from both the customer side and Flender's sales or project management teams to ensure customer orders are consistent and complete. Order Processing: Efficiently handle the processing of customer orders. Technical Coordination: Liaise with factory and product/marketing teams to resolve any configuration or technical changes. Discount Application: Determine appropriate discount rates at the time of sale, if applicable. Transaction Quality: Address and resolve issues related to the quality of transactions to ensure customer satisfaction. Proposal Management: May have the authority to approve small bids and non-bid proposals. Customer Support: Provide essential information to customers and general sales teams. Needs Analysis: Analyse the needs of end customers and support their decision-making process. Lead Qualification: Investigate and qualify customer contacts and leads through data analysis or remote interactions. Administrative Support: Offer back-office support for general administrative duties as needed. Skills: Mechanical Engineering Experience: Required to understand technical aspects of the products and solutions. SAP Experience: Beneficial but not required, as full training is available. Salesforce Experience: Beneficial but not required, as full training is available. Self-Management: Ability to manage personal workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
