Summary
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Reading, South East. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth within the building and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service, all while contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the building and construction sector. Provide accurate product information and pricing to clients, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve targets. Customer order processing and quote preparation. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions Attend in-house trade days to promote the company's products and services.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the building and construction industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong customer focus.
