Internal Sales Support
Internal Sales Support & Sales Office Coordinator
This role focuses on supporting an external sales team in a technical engineering environment, covering customer enquiries, order administration, quotation preparation, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and sales enquiries
- Process customer orders and prepare quotations
- Maintain CRM records (quotes, customer contact details)
- Support the sales team by following up on open opportunities to drive conversions
- Liaise with suppliers and the purchasing team to obtain pricing
- Provide customers with delivery updates and resolve post-order issues
- Identify new business opportunities and prospect for potential customers
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and procedures
- Participate in product and sales training
- Provide warehouse cover as needed, including:
- Order picking
- Packing and dispatch operations

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in sales support, internal sales, customer service, or technical sales
- Experience preparing quotations and handling customer enquiries
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising workloads effectively
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Self-motivated team player with a flexible, hands-on attitude
- Comfortable working with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Health and safety-conscious
