Internal Salesperson – Busy & Dynamic Environment with Great Progression Opportunities
We’re BSS Industrial, part of the Travis Perkins Group, looking for a hardworking, friendly candidate to join our branch sales team as an Internal Salesperson. The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to maximise sales at every opportunity and expand our customer base.
- Identify and develop new accounts to grow business growth.
- Daily interactions with customers via phone and email to handle orders and enquiries.
- Build strong, friendly relationships with regular customers through exceptional customer service, driving repeat business.
- Ensure smooth transactions from start to finish by coordinating with colleagues and suppliers.
- Ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
- Turnkey office environment focused on sales efficiencies—no cold calling required.

BSS Industrial is a trusted distributor of heating, tubing, process, and mechanical servicing equipment, serving the Building Services and Industrial sectors. Established over 110 years, we’re now part of the Travis Perkins Group, operating across more than 60 branches, including a National Distribution Center in Lutterworth and a National Tube Distribution Center in Coventry.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in a customer-facing sales role (preferably with a phone-based element).
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to evaluate and nurture diverse customer relationships.
- A self-motivated, proactive attitude – you will thrive in an energetic environment.
- Strong numerical and computer skills, with enthusiasm for training and development.
- Product knowledge is beneficial, but full on-the-job training will be provided.
