Internal Scrutiny Team Leader

Internal Scrutiny Team Leader

Welcome to Juniper Education, where our mission is to champion educators, empowering them to shape future generations. We're more than a support system; we’re the driving force that propels schools and Academy Trusts to new heights. With our proven school education management systems and services, we address a spectrum of needs—ensuring excellence in education. In the education and tech industry, your work influences lives: from developing cutting-edge educational technology to supporting school leadership teams and designing solutions that enhance learning, you have the power to make a lasting difference.

Our mission says it all: We look after you so that you can look after our children.

About Our Values

We uphold core principles that define who we are and how we impact education:

  • Empowerment: Equipping everyone with the tools, intellect, connections, and freedom to succeed, ensuring every voice is recognised and respected.
  • Purpose: Supporting colleagues to reach their potential so all children can achieve theirs.
  • Passion: Because we love what you do, you’re integral to everything.
  • Innovation: Crafting meaningful solutions through expertise and creative thinking to shape the evolving world of education.
  • Collaboration: A foundation of our success—diverse perspectives drive collective achievement.

The Role: Internal Scrutiny Team Leader

Juniper Education is seeking an experienced Internal Scrutiny Team Leader to lead our high-quality assurance services for schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs), and education clients.

Core Purpose

This critical role ensures our internal scrutiny consultancy provides independent, risk-based, and practical assurances across governance, risk, and internal control. You’ll act as the primary client lead, owning contracts and guaranteeing a high-standard, consistent service.

Your work combines client leadership and programme design to align our offerings with the expectations of the UK education sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
