We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive Internal Talent Executive to join our growing Operations team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll take full ownership of internal recruitment across Akkar. You’ll partner more widely with leadership to understand requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and ensure every stage of the recruitment journey reflects Akkar’s culture and expectations. You’ll be operationally strong, but capable of influencing upwards and improving systems from within, using your curiosity and consultative approach to identify opportunities for growth and refinement.
About the role
This is a hands-on internal recruitment role at the heart of Akkar’s growth. As we work towards becoming the leading recruitment partner to the world’s most ambitious companies, you’ll be responsible for finding the people who will get us there. You’ll be building talent pipelines, speaking to candidates every day, selling the Akkar opportunity, and keeping recruitment moving at pace.
This is first and foremost a delivery role, suited to someone who enjoys being on the phone, building relationships quickly, and creating momentum. There will also be opportunities to support the growth and development of the wider internal recruitment function as we scale.
Your Day to Day:
- Owning and managing the full internal recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing and advertising to coordinating the interview process at every stage.
- Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms, alongside reviewing inbound applications from Indeed and other job boards, recruiting across all roles within our sales and operations teams. From time to time, you may also support international hiring for our US and UAE entities.
- Partnering with leadership to define roles, timelines, and success criteria.
- Authoring clear, targeted, and engaging job descriptions and adverts that reflect Akkar’s corporate identity and values.
- Keeping tuned in and up to date with industry trends, attraction methods, and challenges in your space.
- Maintaining meticulous accuracy in administration and documentation within our ATS. Gathering feedback from candidates and leadership to inform and enhance processes.
- Providing insights and valuable recommendations to improve our recruitment framework. Representing Akkar’s culture and values at every stage of the hiring process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
