Internal Technical Sales Engineer
Role Summary
As Assan Panel, a leading manufacturer of PU and Mineral Wool composite panel solutions, we are looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to support our growing business. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations, delivering technical consultancy to customers, and supporting project-based sales processes with high responsiveness and precision. This role shall be based at our factory in Gateway 14, Stowmarket, Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations in line with project specifications, customer needs, and Assan Panel product portfolio
- Provide technical consultancy to customers, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders on sandwich panel systems (PU / PIR / Mineral Wool)
- Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to propose optimal panel solutions
- Support the sales team by delivering technical insights and value-based solutions
- Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of offers
- Follow up on quotations and contribute to converting opportunities into confirmed orders
- Ensure all proposals comply with relevant building codes, fire resistance requirements, and Assan Panel quality standards
- Maintain strong knowledge of Assan Panel products, systems, and application areas

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related fields)
- Experience in construction materials, preferably sandwich/composite panels or building envelope systems
- Solid understanding of insulation materials (PU, PIR, Mineral Wool) and industrial building applications
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and customer orientation
- Commercial mindset with attention to detail in costing and quotation
- Proficiency in MS Office; CAD knowledge is a plus

Please note: This is a full-time onsite position based at our UK facility, and remote working is not available due to the operational nature of the role.
