About the Role

As an International Account Manager, you’ll be a key player in growing Burt’s Bees and Ever Clean across multiple European markets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing sales through distributor and retail partners
  • Supporting market expansion and commercial strategy
  • Driving sustainable growth through effective collaboration

This is an ideal opportunity for an FMCG Account Manager, Executive, or early-career professional who is ready to take on cross-European commercial responsibility.


Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and grow sales through distributor and retail partnerships
  • Build and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Support core sales fundamentals:
    • Assortment planning
    • Pricing strategies
    • Merchandising and shelving optimization
  • Leverage analytical skills to track KPIs and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including forecasting, trade funding, and order processes
  • Identify new market opportunities to expand distribution and visibility
  • Influence distributors and retailers to list Burt’s Bees and Ever Clean, including independent and small-chain retailers across Europe
  • Drive "pull-through" by training distributor sales teams and ensuring execution in-store
  • Recommend tools and strategies to improve shelf presence and promotional execution

Requirements

Experience

  • FMCG account management experience is ideal, but strong transferable skills will be considered
  • Demonstrated confidence in relationship-building with external partners and internal teams
  • Proficiency in sales fundamentals, including:
    • Communication & negotiation
    • Joint Business Plan (JBP) execution
    • Objection-handling strategies
  • Strong curiosity, tenacity, and a willingness to adapt and learn

Background

  • Degree-level qualification (any field)
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and key sales enablement tools
  • Practical experience in:
    • Account planning & forecasting
    • Negotiations
    • Financial or commercial analytics

  • Strong relationship-building skills – thrive in partnerships with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders, keeping initiatives on track
  • Clear, assertive communication – confidently present business reviews, coach teams, and advocate for new listings and initiatives

  • Operational discipline – meticulous with forecasting, trade spend, and order management to ensure accuracy and efficiency
