International Account Manager – Burt’s Bees & Ever Clean

As an International Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in growing the Burt’s Bees and Ever Clean brands across multiple European markets. You’ll partner with distributors and retailers to drive expansion, shape commercial strategies, and deliver sustainable growth in a dynamic FMCG landscape.
This is an ideal opportunity for FMCG Account Managers, Executives, or early-career professionals eager to develop cross-European commercial expertise and take ownership of account growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth through distributor and retail partnerships, ensuring optimal visibility and execution.
- Build and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) – crafted collaboratively with partners to prioritise growth opportunities.
- Manage core sales levers:
- Assortment strategy to maximise feasibility and profitability.
- Pricing and merchandising alignment with customer needs.
- Shelving and placement optimisation for shelf impact.
- Leverage analytical skills to track KPIs and translate data into tactical actions.
- Oversee daily operations, including:
- Discounted sales forecasts.
- Trade-funding approvals/optimization.
- Order accuracy and supply chain execution.
- Open new market routes to expand distribution visibility, from national chains to independent retailers and small-format stores.
- Influence distributor and retail decisions to secure lists and activate sales across Europe.
- Partner with distributor sales teams to deliver in-store execution via training and coaching.
- Invest in in-store presence – recommending services to optimise promotions, point-of-sale materials, and better execution.

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- FMCG experience is a strong foundation (though not mandatory).
- Proven track record building and maintaining relationships – both with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Selling fundamentals: clear communication skills, handling objections, and expiring joint KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and bounce back from setbacks.
- Technical and operational accountability: ability to Turn data into actionable commercial decisions.
Professional Requirements
- Degree-level education from an accredited institution.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and sales tool experience.
- Experience with account planning, negotiation techniques, and finance forecasting.
Skills & Mindset
- Strong relationship-building. You thrive when partnering with distributors, retailers, and teams – always leading with collaboration.
- Confident communicator. Take ownership in meetings, presentations, sales reviews, and coaching -- with a clear sales message.
- Practical, data-driven approach. Translate KPIs and trends into simple action plans.
- Operational discipline. Highly organised in forecasting, trade funding, and order processes with attention to detail.
- A Growth Mindset. Willing to take on challenges – from market entry, channel development, financial literacy, and coaching supervisors.
