You understand how to scaffold concepts and design practice problems that build understanding. Project Management Skills: Excellent organisational and project management abilities. You can break down large tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate others’ work effectively. Tech Savvy & AI Proficiency: High comfort with technology and quick to adapt to new tools. Willingness to use and experiment with modern AI tools to enhance productivity and content quality is essential. You don’t need to be a programmer, but you should be eager to utilise software to work smarter. Experience with tools like LaTeX or other math authoring software is also beneficial . Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team, coordinate meetings or discussions across time zones, and share knowledge with colleagues. You can articulate what makes good educational content and guide others to achieve it. Detail Orientation and Quality Focus: Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to academic accuracy, formatting, and consistency. A passion for maintaining high quality standards. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
