Job Summary
FreeWheel is looking for a Manager who will assume responsibility for a team and the organization and management of strategic initiatives within the Commercial Operations Group.
The Manager will be able to work with moderate guidance in their area of expertise while ensuring high-quality support for their team and the delivery of simple to moderately complex initiatives/goals.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships and create strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork with stakeholders and peers.
- Ensure career growth planning, performance management, and succession planning occur on time for all members of the team.
- Use data and reporting to measure, track, and communicate team and initiative performance and guide decisions.
- Ensure existing processes, templates, and best practices are used in the management of initiatives.
- Act as the first line of defense for any escalations raised by program stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of team capacity and skill sets to staff incoming work quickly and efficiently.
- Work with stakeholders to consistently revisit roles, responsibilities, and processes to ensure optimal operating efficiency.
- Attract, onboard, and retain critical talent, helping to get the right talent in place for the organization.
- Understand the overall FreeWheel Strategy and translate how day-to-day work (and that of their teams, for people leaders) connects to this strategy.
- Use customer insights and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and decision-making.

Required Competencies:

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
