About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing global fintech business transforming the way individuals and businesses move money internationally. Backed by significant scale, cutting-edge technology, and an ambitious international growth strategy, they are looking to appoint an experienced International Growth & Partnerships Lead to drive expansion across key global markets (key focus is Europe).

The Opportunity

This is a highly commercial role focused on building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and accelerating growth within the cross-border remittance sector. Working with both internal stakeholders and external partners, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and delivering measurable business results. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Development and acting as an important interface between the business and external markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead growth initiatives across priority international markets, developing and executing market expansion strategies.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, helping to shape product and commercial strategy.
  • Work closely with financial institutions, payment partners, and other key ecosystem participants to enhance customer experience and retention.

About You

  • Strong experience in international business development, partnerships, or market expansion roles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, commercially focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of international markets and customer behaviors.
  • Experience within cross-border payments, remittance, foreign exchange, or (FinTech) credit/lending?
  • Degree educated
