ECOFUEGO is the world’s first wax firepit company, creating a new category in outdoor living. Our products offer consumers a cleaner, simpler and more versatile alternative to traditional firepits, combining striking design, ease of use and a distinctive retail proposition.
The business currently trades into 10 global markets and continues to expand across the UK and internationally. We are now seeking a commercially driven International Head of Sales to lead domestic sales performance while supporting the development of international retail, distributor and reseller relationships.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on sales leadership position, working directly with ECOFUEGO’s founder and leadership team. The International Head of Sales will take ownership of UK sales performance while helping the business identify, open and develop international opportunities where commercially relevant.
The role will involve managing and developing key domestic retail relationships across the garden, DIY, camping and outdoor living channels, while supporting the company’s broader international growth strategy.
This is not a purely strategic management role. The successful candidate will be expected to prospect new opportunities, build pipeline from outreach through to close, personally engage with key accounts, manage external sales representatives and take full accountability for delivering annualised sales targets.
The role will oversee approximately 400 domestic retail locations across national accounts and independent resellers, with wider exposure to ECOFUEGO’s growing international customer base.

The International Head of Sales will be responsible for leading ECOFUEGO’s UK field representative network, currently expected to be a 10-person team covering key domestic territories.
This will include setting clear sales targets, territory priorities, customer objectives and performance expectations for each representative. The successful candidate will be expected to provide regular direction, coaching and accountability to ensure field activity converts into measurable sales growth, stronger retail relationships and improved execution across the UK store network.
This person will be responsible for ensuring the field team is focused, commercially disciplined and aligned with ECOFUEGO’s annual sales goals.
International Opportunity
ECOFUEGO currently trades into 10 global markets. The International Head of Sales will have the opportunity to work with the business to open, structure and grow international relationships where commercially relevant.
This may include identifying new market opportunities, developing distributor and reseller relationships, supporting international trade events and helping build scalable routes to market beyond the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver ECOFUEGO’s UK sales strategy.
- Support the development of international sales relationships and market opportunities.
- Manage key national and independent retail relationships across garden, DIY, camping and outdoor living channels.
- Prospect new retail, distributor and reseller opportunities.
- Build pipeline from outreach through to close.
- Take accountability for annualised sales targets and revenue delivery.
- Lead and manage a 10-person UK field representative team.
- Set clear objectives, sales priorities and performance expectations for field sales activity.
- Drive accountability across territories and ensure field activity supports national sales goals.
- Develop channel management strategies across garden, DIY, camping and outdoor retail.
- Support catalogue development, range planning and commercial proposals.
- Develop and implement pricing strategy.
- Provide direction for trade events, seasonal launches and customer-facing activations.
- Support key industry trade events and seasonal launches with major retail partners.
- Ensure consistent execution across approximately 400 UK retail locations.
- Build long-term, commercially valuable relationships with national accounts, independent retailers, distributors and international partners.

Candidate Experience
The successful candidate should bring:
- 10+ years’ experience selling consumer goods into the garden, DIY, camping, outdoor living or related retail sectors.
- A proven track record of delivering sales targets.
- Experience managing national retail accounts and independent reseller networks.
- International sales, distributor or export channel experience would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working in small, fast-moving teams.
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline and close deals.
- Experience managing external sales representatives or field sales teams.
- Confidence operating at buyer, board, distributor, partner and founder level.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with the motivation to get involved directly in sales activity.
Compensation
Compensation will be dependent on experience and structured to reward both leadership capability and commercial performance.
The package is expected to include:
