Helping International Companies Build and Support Their Global Workforce

Are you someone who enjoys solving complex HR challenges and helping organizations navigate international growth? Do you combine a broad HR background with strong stakeholder management and a genuine curiosity to keep learning?

At Parakar, we help companies employ people across Europe. Whether they're expanding into new countries, scaling rapidly, or building remote teams, we provide practical HR solutions that make international employment simple.

As an International HR Business Consultant

You'll become the trusted HR partner for your own portfolio of international clients. You'll advise them on a wide variety of HR topics, deliver consultancy projects, and occasionally work as an interim HR professional within their organization. No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role exciting.

Are you excited to work in an international and dynamic work environment?

This role goes far beyond traditional HR operations. You'll work with innovative companies across industries such as technology, fintech, life sciences, and professional services. Some clients need strategic HR advice, others need temporary HR capacity, while others are looking for guidance on international employment, performance management, organizational development or employee experience.

You don't need to know every country's employment legislation by heart as we have local HR specialists for that. Instead, you're someone who understands the bigger HR picture, knows how to ask the right questions, brings the right experts together, and translates complex information into practical advice that clients can immediately use.

You'll collaborate closely with our country specialists, payroll consultants, legal experts and client teams to ensure every client receives outstanding support throughout their journey.

What You'll Do

As an International HR Business Consultant, you'll combine consultancy, project management and relationship management to deliver high-quality HR solutions across Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality HR consultancy and interim support to international clients across multiple European countries.
  • Managing client requests from initial intake through successful delivery, ensuring excellent client experience throughout.
  • Advising clients on a broad range of international HR topics and translating complex HR challenges into practical solutions.
  • Building trusted client relationships by acting as their strategic HR partner and first point of contact.
  • Working closely with Parakar's country specialists to gather local expertise and translate it into clear, business-focused advice.
  • Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining high quality and strong communication.
  • Using HR insights and data to support clients in making informed people decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our services, client experience and internal ways of working.
  • Taking ownership of complex client challenges and driving them through to successful resolution.
  • Continuously developing your HR expertise and staying curious about new developments in international HR.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
