Job Summary
The International Markets Assistant supports the UMGB International Markets Team in securing and executing brand partnerships across over 40 global markets.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct in-depth research on potential partners and key contacts for lead generation.
- Collaborate closely with the team to package existing brand deals and relationships into new opportunities.
- Develop high-impact business presentations for artist pitches and partnership opportunities.
- Gather essential assets (e.g., music samples, visual materials) for new pitches.
- Manage outreach, lead trackers, and communications to ensure alignment with internal/external teams.
- Assist with new business-led events, social media engagement, and conference planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Market Intelligence
- Research potential global partners and identify ideal contacts within 40+ markets.
- Chase new business opportunities by analysing deal history, industry trends, and competitor insights.

Creative & Presentation Support
- Design persuasive executive-level presentations featuring artists, campaigns, and data to pitch to brands.
- Compile and curate creative assets (e.g., music trailers, visual assets) for partnerships.

Collaborative Execution & Reporting
- Maintain outreach trackers and ensure clear communication between teams.
- Support marketing activities, including social media content and event preparation.

Administrative Efficiencies
- Maintain digital spreadsheets in Excel/Outlook to track pipeline, follow-ups, and metrics.
Requirements & Experience
Essential Skills & Qualities
✔ Excelling Under Pressure – Ability to juggle multiple projects, work deadlines, and adapt quickly. ✔ Strong Communication – Both verbal presentations and polished written reports. ✔ Attention to Detail – Religiously accuracy-checks data, pitches, and deliverables. ✔ Collaborative Mindset – Thrive in a team environment with cross-departmental dependencies. ✔ Professionalism – Maintain composure while engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders. ✔ Tech Savviness – Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). ✔ Commercial Acumen – Understand value exchange in music/brand collateral (internships/work experience counts!).

Desired (But Not Mandatory)
🔹 Marketing Experience – particularly in digital/mobile entertainment or music promotion. 🔹 College/University Education – formal degree not required, but valuable for the programme. 🔹 Prior Work in Brand Partnerships – guitar strings, style alerts: impress teams with marketplace awareness.
