What You’ll Do
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned international markets, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with local stakeholders and payroll providers, while monitoring key deadlines and mitigating risks.
- Perform payroll validations, audit-compliant checks, year-end activities, and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Act as a key contact for payroll-related queries, finance reconciliations, tax submissions, and third-party payments.
- Lead regular meetings with payroll providers and collaborate with global payroll teams to track and resolve actions and issues.
- Maintain payroll documentation, ensure compliance with local legislation, identify process improvements, and provide support across the wider payroll team as needed.

This role is a hybrid opportunity, offering 1–2 days per week working from home.

What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – bring your authentic self, alongside these key requirements:
- 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally including Belgium payroll exposure, with a strong grasp of payroll operations and compliance.
- Professional payroll accreditation (e.g., CIPP or international equivalent), along with in-depth knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory demands.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to diagnose issues and deploy solutions efficiently.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, combined with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, fostering trust and alignment across teams and external partners.
- A proactive, organised, and resilient demeanour, capable of juggling multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
