Construction Logistics Group

Position: International Payroll Specialist (European projects)

Location: London based office/remotely depending on candidate location

Type: Full time / Part time

Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing for mainly Nordic countries, Ireland, and additional countries as reasonably required in line with the needs of the business
  • Collect, review, and approve timesheets and attendance data. Calculate gross-to-net pay including overtime, bonuses, and commission
  • Ensure payroll transactions strictly adhere to government regulations, based on the country
  • Maintain immaculate, confidential records of payroll transactions, employee benefits, and statutory leaves (e.g., maternity/paternity, or sick pay)
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and field employee questions regarding payslips and deductions
  • Reconcile payroll data, prepare reports for finance/HR departments, and assist with internal or external audits

Candidate Profile

This is an independent contribution role that requires a high level of self-direction and accountability. The candidate must possess the ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner without daily oversight.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in international payroll administration (minimum 2 Nordic countries)
  • Processing end-to-end payroll procedure (starters, leavers, bonuses, adjustments)
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll platforms such as NMBRS, Tripletex, Visma, Mepco, Hogia, Procounter, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
  • High numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail to prevent costly payroll errors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to explain complex payroll matters clearly to staff and operations team
  • Handling employee payroll queries and explaining payslips, benefits, and deductions
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial and personal information with absolute confidentiality

Salary is negotiable and discussed at the interview + Bonuses based on performance
