Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst who will be involved in working with a strong integrated tax and finance team on many aspects of tax work including international tax compliance, direct and indirect tax, research, and support of cross-functional projects for non-US entities across EMEA and Asia Pacific. The Tax Analyst will support tax compliance, reconciliations, audits, and assessments. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams including finance, GL, AP, revenue, legal, and HC, as well as coordination with external tax advisers. This individual will also contribute to improving internal tax procedures, identifying opportunities for automation, and communicating tax matters clearly to stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for various non-US entities
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and related compliance requirements across relevant jurisdictions
  • Support direct and indirect tax compliance across EMEA and Asia Pacific including support with FATCA, CRS and other filings applicable.
  • Reconcile books and tax records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyse internal tax files and support tax reporting requirements
  • Assist with annual audits and tax assessments
  • Liaise closely with Operations and Accounting teams to understand various tax implications of business decisions, new clients, and other impactful items
  • Be the key person of contact with external tax advisers to ensure timely tax filings
  • Recommend areas of opportunity for improvement and implement continual best practices within the department
  • Communicate tax matters, progress, and issues clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in tax (preferred), accounting, or finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and taxation
  • Must have experience with international taxes such as tax provisioning or international corporate income tax compliance
  • Experience with business taxes and indirect taxes (VAT/GST) a plus
  • Working with Oracle reports and systems a plus
  • Must possess a high-level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and a high level of discretion to handle sensitive information including compensation

Base salary range for this role

  • Pay Range Minimum: 56400
  • Pay Range Maximum: 73300

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
