Job Description

Job Title – Director – Global Tax / International Tax (London, CSQ)

This exciting role is within our International Tax Team based in the London office, focusing on the changing tax landscape for multinational businesses. You’ll join a high performing team, supporting them in advising some of the largest and most complex organisations.

We are looking for a talented individual at Director level to support our continued rapid growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of multinational clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory services including tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries and providing technical support to the wider corporate tax team.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the optimal route to market, working with a range of stakeholders to explore opportunities for opening up conversations with both clients and targets.
  • Provide strategic input on international tax structuring, business reorganisations, operating model redesigns, and global tax policy changes (e.g. BEPS 2.0).
  • Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex technical matters to a range of audiences. Good working knowledge of key non-UK tax regimes relevant to your core client base.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Develop and adapt business strategy in response to evolving client needs and global tax trends.
  • Champion compliance and risk protocols, embedding Global Tax Principles into all engagements.
  • Drive business development initiatives, leveraging market insights and client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Being a role model for KPMG’s values.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
