International Tax Director
Global Tax Director – Permanent Role
Robert Half & Datamine
Robert Half are working in exclusive partnership with Datamine, a high-growth international software portfolio operating within a publicly listed multi-billion-dollar group, to recruit a Global Tax Director on a permanent basis. Based out of Bristol, this newly created position will provide a commercial and value-add lens in transfer pricing, tax efficiency, and addressing tax leakage.
Reporting to the CFO, this role will operate in a fast-paced, highly acquisitive environment. The Global Tax Director will work post-integration to mitigate risk, align policies and procedures, and ensure tax efficiencies across 20+ jurisdictions.

The Global Tax Director Role
This is a greenfield international tax opportunity focused on value creation, with key responsibilities including:
- Reviewing and improving global transfer pricing policies
- Identifying opportunities to optimise profit allocation
- Refining and developing transfer pricing models
- Overseeing global tax compliance in coordination with external advisors
- Building and maintaining succinct tax reporting & dashboards
- Acting as a business partner with senior leadership on tax strategy
- Providing commercial insight into complex tax areas
- Offering strategic input for:
- M&A activities
- New jurisdictions
- Growth opportunities

About You
Essential Qualifications
Must be a qualified tax professional (e.g., ACA, CTA, or equivalent) with:
- Strong background in transfer pricing including:
- Working knowledge of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines
- Experience with international and multi-entity operations
- Evidence of driving tax efficiency and strategy
- Ability to provide commercial input in tax decision-making
On Offer
- £100,000 – £125,000 basic salary
- Up to 30% bonus
- 10% non-contributory pension
- Flexible working
- Occasional international travel as required by business needs
