The position
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a International Tax Manager, joining our Finance team!
Requirements
- Collections professional with solid experience and proven performance, mainly consultancy environment
- Prior experience with international taxation and financial operations
- Experience with a global law firm, Fintech, or start-up company
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Data-driven communicator
- Professional experience working with large data sets
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but it is considered a plus
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
Key responsibilities
- Assist with advisory projects on personal income tax and social security questions for all active countries
- Determine and assess best equity options and payments
- Moving forward, work with the payroll department at determining the fund flow that will allow the tax efficiency regarding the salary packages and benefits in the different countries
- Assess local tax exposures in the different countries upon the ongoing (personal income tax and social security perspective)
- Help the team with any tax question arising from clients
- Build documentation resources to address recurring and potential customer questions around tax

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case-by-case basis.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is
€64.550—€72.650 EUR
