International Tax Manager - Remote

International Tax Manager – Remote (Europe-Focused)

Location: Remote (UK-based candidates only) Company: Leading multinational business


About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join their in-house tax team remotely. This role will support key acquired sub-groups within Europe, reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager and playing a strategic role in compliance and advisory projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee tax compliance and transfer pricing compliance for the European acquired sub-group of companies.
  • Lead ad hoc regional tax advisory projects, including:
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax due diligence
    • Corporate restructuring advice
    • Cash repatriation strategies
  • Provide tax guidance and solutions to regional colleagues, resolving complex queries for business stakeholders.
  • Deliver timely, high-value tax support and ensure stakeholder satisfaction across projects.
  • Minimise withholding tax costs for the group while managing related processes.
  • Serve as the primary withholding tax contact for business inquiries and disputes.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Chartered accountancy qualification: CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ADIT.
    • Proven international tax experience (transfer pricing a plus, but not mandatory).
    • Strong project management skills with ability to liaise effectively with global/business stakeholders.
  • Nice to have:
    • Direct experience working with Europe-based acquired businesses.
