Join a growing global business and help shape the future of international tax reporting
As Ardonagh's international operations continue to expand, we're strengthening our tax governance, reporting processes and controls across the Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional to play a key role in transforming our international tax reporting framework, supporting large-scale systems implementation projects and contributing to critical compliance initiatives including Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and Pillar Two.
Reporting to the International Tax Controller, you'll work closely with finance and tax teams across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the delivery of high-quality tax reporting and compliance processes while driving continuous improvement and automation.
The Opportunity
This role combines technical tax expertise with project and transformation work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of tax, finance, systems and process improvement.
You'll support the end-to-end tax reporting cycle, review tax provisioning data from international entities, contribute to global compliance obligations and help embed new reporting processes and technologies across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Reporting & Governance
- Support the planning and coordination of each tax reporting cycle, including testing internal reporting templates and validating data requirements before distribution to stakeholders.
- Review tax provisioning computations within local tax reporting packs for low and medium-risk entities, ensuring tax positions are accurately reflected and posted within local ledgers.
- Identify, investigate and resolve issues arising from local tax provisions and tax status questionnaires.
- Support the preparation of group-level tax reporting adjustments, including deferred tax asset recognition, late profit-before-tax movements and uncertain tax positions under IFRIC 23.
- Prepare and maintain rolling tax summaries and supporting tax memoranda, ensuring key tax positions, risks and developments are appropriately documented.
Global Tax Compliance
- Prepare the Group's Country-by-Country Report (CbCR).
- Coordinate with external advisors on public CbC reporting requirements in relevant jurisdictions, including the EU and Australia.
- Analyse jurisdictional tax positions for Transitional CbCR Safe Harbour and Pillar Two purposes.
- Support the preparation of Pillar Two reporting and compliance obligations.
Systems & Transformation
- Play a key role in the implementation, testing and enhancement of tax reporting systems and processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and process improvements associated with Pillar Two reporting solutions.
- Drive improvements in existing Excel-based reporting tools and contribute to broader tax transformation initiatives.
- Help maintain high-quality tax data and reporting consistency across the Group.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
