AI Impact Reporter – London (Editorial/Journalism)

The Wall Street Journal seeks a London-based reporter to cover the defining story of our time: the global impact of AI—how artificial intelligence is reshaping business, governments, warfare, religion, and human relationships.

This role positions you as Europe’s gateway for emerging tech and AI narratives, enabling you to uncover stories from countries and companies fiercely competing for leadership in the field.

The Role

  • Core responsibility: Write big, scoopy articles on AI’s winners and losers—encompassing breaking news and deep investigative reporting.
  • Storytelling focus: Explore AI’s transformative power through human experiences, making arcane tech concepts accessible to influential, globally dispersed readership.
  • Source development: Build high-level relationships in tech, government, and finance to uncover exclusive insights.
  • Reader-first approach: Craft compelling narratives that engage readers and drive meaningful discourse.
  • Leverage Journal tools: Use our AI-driven resources to accelerate research and deepen coverage.
