Role Overview

PURPOSE OF JOB

This internship provides the opportunity to support key internal business initiatives and operational projects within a global, client-focused organisation. The role offers exposure to high-level internal processes, working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and service lines. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects by supporting research, analysis, and the development of clear and accessible materials that enhance understanding and delivery of business operations. The student will gain broad exposure to cross-functional teams and contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency and internal communication across the business. This position is supervised by the Head of Client Experience and Senior Management.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assisting with coordination of project-related tasks and updates.
  • Conducting research across internal systems, processes, and business areas.
  • Analysing information and summarising key findings for senior stakeholders.
  • Translating complex information into concise, structured insights.
  • Working with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and business areas.
  • Attending meetings and capturing key actions and outcomes.
  • Creating clear, structured internal documentation and user guidance materials.
  • Producing presentations and reports for senior internal audiences.
  • Learn and participate in various simple processes across different teams.
  • Adhere to JTC’s core values and expected behaviours.
  • Undertake any additional duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Essential Requirements

  • University undergraduate or postgraduate with a strong interest in business economics, finance, or business management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to quickly learn and use internal systems and tools.
  • Able to condense large amounts of information into short, concise readable summaries.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and helpful attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency with technology and aptitude with AI, etc.
  • Able to work independently with limited direction while seeking guidance when needed.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in producing clear and structured documentation.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and suggest enhancements to processes or materials.
