Customer Support & Timing Coordinator – Internship (6-Month Mandatory)

HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has grown into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes annually.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Athlete Support: Be the first point of contact for all queries regarding event results, penalties, and timing discrepancies.
  • Query Management: Address customer enquiries within agreed SLA timeframes, ensuring responses are professional, accurate, and empathetic.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate issues and resolve problems—escalating unresolved or complex timing issues to the Timing Team.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Route external enquiries to the appropriate internal teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring themes in handled queries to refine athlete communications.
  • Event Support: Travel to on-site events across the country for frontline support.

Your Profile

  • Experience: Mandatory 6-month internship (proof required).
  • Education: Ideal candidate is a placement student in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree.
  • Mindset:
    • Highly data-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to analyze details and investigate thoroughly.
  • Experience:
    • Prior knowledge of customer service or sports event operations is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Must handle athlete queries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Flexibility:
    • Willingness to travel to events and commit to a 1-year employment contract.
  • Location: Preference for London, but Hamburg is also considered.
  • Language Requirements:
    • English (C-level minimum required).
    • German proficiency (plus) welcome.
