Internship - Finance
Internship - Finance Application Deadline: 1 June 2026 Department: Internships Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Location: Manchester
Description 12-month FTC - Starting September 2026
We’re launching our first-ever Internship Programme, and there has never been a better time to join Adanola. During the 12-month Internship, you’ll gain hands‑on experience, work alongside experienced teams, and contribute to projects that shape our business. This isn’t just “shadowing”; you’ll take ownership of meaningful tasks and gain a true understanding of Adanola.
Our internship programme offers the opportunity to work within one of our teams (Product / Brand / Commercial / Finance) and collaborate cross-functionally on projects that impact our brand, products and operations worldwide.
What You’ll Do During your internship, you will rotate between our three core areas of the Finance function, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how finance supports a fast-growing retail business. Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time. During your time in Accounts Receivable, you’ll help manage the flow of incoming payments and then in Management Accounts, you will gain exposure to how financial performance is tracked and reported across the business. You’ll work on tasks such as those detailed below.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
