Internship – Junior Motion Graphics & Video Editor (Graduate)
Location: Hybrid – London / Flexible
Salary: Paid internship (National Minimum Wage)
Duration: 3–6 month internship, with the potential to become a full-time member of the team.
About Portal
Founded in 2019, Portal is an award-winning creative agency specialising in marketing, design and advertising for the global toy and video games industry. We work with some of the world's leading publishers, developers and distributors, creating everything from key art and brand campaigns to social media content, trailers, motion graphics and digital advertising. Recently acquired by the Generation Media Group, we're continuing to grow our busy creative studio, making this an exciting time to join our team. About the Role
We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Motion Graphics & Video Editor to join our growing studio. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career, working across a diverse range of clients and projects. You'll collaborate with our Creative Director and design team to create engaging motion graphics, video content and digital campaigns for social media, websites and marketing.

What You'll Be Doing
- Edit short- and long-form video content.
- Create motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Produce content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
- Add graphics, captions, transitions, sound design and visual effects.
- Support projects from concept through to final delivery.
- Assist with video shoots.
- Stay up to date with design, motion graphics and social media trends.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have
- A degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film Studies or a related subject.
- A strong portfolio or showreel (university work is welcomed).
- Experience using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- A good understanding of animation, typography and layout.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Bonus Skills
- Cinema 4D or Blender.
- DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Photography or filming experience.
- Experience creating social content for brands.
- An interest in gaming, entertainment or toys.
