About Us
We are a growing medical communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations to turn complex science into clear, accurate and meaningful communications.
Our teams work across scientific services, medical writing, client partnerships, strategy, creative, data solutions and business development. We combine scientific expertise, creativity and strong client relationships to develop work that informs healthcare professionals, supports patients and contributes to better health outcomes.
We are looking for an ambitious postgraduate student who is interested in exploring a career in medical communications and wants to gain practical experience across a fast-paced, collaborative agency.
The Opportunity
As a Medical Communications Intern, you will gain broad exposure to how a medical communications agency operates, with a particular focus on scientific services and medical writing.
You will work alongside experienced medical writers, client partnership professionals, strategists, creatives and other agency colleagues. You will contribute to live projects, develop your understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and learn how scientific information is transformed into compelling content for different audiences and channels.
This internship is designed to give you meaningful, hands-on experience rather than observation alone. You will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and take ownership of your development throughout the placement.

Key Responsibilities
Scientific Services and Medical Writing
- Support the development of scientifically accurate and engaging content for a range of audiences
- Assist with literature searches, evidence gathering and reference management
- Review scientific papers, clinical data and background materials
- Help draft, edit and proofread materials such as slide decks, manuscripts, posters, abstracts, meeting materials and educational content
- Support fact-checking, data-checking and quality-control processes
- Adapt scientific information into clear and accessible language
- Help ensure that content is accurate, consistent, appropriately referenced and aligned with project requirements
- Attend internal project discussions and scientific review meetings where appropriate
Client and Project Support
- Support project teams with meeting preparation, notes and follow-up actions
- Help maintain project trackers, timelines and working documents
- Learn how client feedback is managed and incorporated into deliverables
- Gain exposure to project scoping, briefing and the development of client communications
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across scientific services, client partnerships, strategy and creative
