Intervention Teaching Assistant 3 and Wraparound Care Assistant (Catsfield Church of England Primary School)
Hours of work: 22.75 hours per week Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service. As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

About the Role
We are now seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic TA3 to join our team. This role will involve delivering targeted intervention support, working closely with individuals and small groups of pupils to help them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in adapting learning, tracking progress and supporting classroom teachers in meeting the needs of all learners. Speech and Language experience is desirable but not essential.

In addition, the role includes leading and supporting positive play experiences during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for our children. You will encourage active play, support positive relationships and promote our school values throughout this important part of the day.
This position also includes a Wraparound Care Assistant contract. The successful candidate will lead fun, engaging and creative after-school sessions, ensuring that children continue to experience our nurturing ethos beyond the classroom. Wraparound Care launched at Catsfield 18 months ago and has since grown into a successful and vibrant provision valued by our families.

Additional Information
This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
