Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 optional)
- Instil a passion for literature and language while developing students' analytical and communication skills
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice within the English department
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Effective classroom management and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- A passion for inspiring young people and contributing positively to school culture
