Receiving Inventory Coordinator
About The Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is central to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely support of our field teams on remodeling and warranty service projects. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to coordinate logistics and travel between multiple project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Small Warehouse Management
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory (materials, tools, supplies).
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is organised, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Oversee staging of orders for upcoming jobs and warranty service work.
- Create efficient processes for inventory management to ensure fluid and smooth processes are in place.
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive, inspect, and log all deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing inventory, ensuring packaging, labelling, and documentary compliance by project.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, damages, shortages, and timely returns to preserve company credit.
Inventory Coordination
- Track and confirm purchase orders against received goods.
- Organise materials by job/project for easy pickup by field crews.
- Manage returns, restocks, and defective item processes.
- Coordinate with the office team to forecast material needs.

Field Support
- Deliver materials, tools, or parts to job sites in support of field crews and warranty/handyman work.
- Provide on-site support for urgent project needs.
- Communicate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure materials are ready and available.
Operational Support
- Maintain inventory control systems and generate reports as needed. Keep data entry up to date and correctly managed within software or tracking systems.
- Assist with equipment and vehicle inspections to ensure readiness for field use.
- Support special projects or urgent tasks as instructed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or construction trades preferred.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn inventory software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to travel between multiple job sites.
- Solid communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of kitchen/bath remodeling materials a plus.
