Role Overview

The role is 12-months fully remote. Client is looking for someone who can start immediately.

About the Role

The Global Logistics Process Excellence Team is seeking a Senior Inventory & Logistics Process Consultant with strong ownership of finished goods inventory governance and the ability to drive end-to-end process excellence across the logistics network. This role combines hands-on inventory control accountability with process leadership, continuous improvement, and internal consulting across Logistics & Distribution.

The role acts as a senior subject-matter expert for inventory, SAP-enabled logistics processes, and transformation initiatives, partnering closely with Logistics Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, S&OP, and Digital Technology Services (DTS).

Key Purpose

  • Own and safeguard end-to-end finished goods inventory accuracy, financial integrity, and compliance across EMEA logistics operations.
  • Lead standardisation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes and systems.
  • Provide expert process consultancy, training, and project support for logistics, distribution, and supply chain initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Governance & Control

  • Own month-end inventory control activities, reporting, reconciliations, and approvals, ensuring timely and accurate financial postings.
  • Safeguard stock integrity, including blocked stock, obsolete inventory, disposals, adjustments versus targets, and pallet stock.
  • Lead DAF/WAF and obsolete stock processes end-to-end, including approvals, postings, accrual alignment, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs (book-to-physical accuracy, adjustment trends, blocked stock exposure) and drive corrective actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
