Inventory Manager

Inventory Manager – Dual Site (Corby & Hammers Hall)

Key Responsibilities

As the Inventory Manager, you’ll lead stock management across two sites (Corby and Hammers Hall), ensuring strategic efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence. Key duties include:

  • Strategic Inventory Planning
    • Develop and implement long-term inventory strategies (12-month forecasting)
    • Optimise stock allocation (e.g., AutoStore, racking, pallet storage)
    • Align inventory with operational needs and market demand

  • Team Leadership & Supervision

    • Directly manage two Inventory Supervisors, providing guidance and support
    • Ensure robust stock control measures and compliance with standards
  • Operational Monitoring & Improvement

    • Oversee cycle counting, stocktakes, and accuracy audits
    • Maintain high housekeeping and stock control standards
    • Drive continuous improvement in inventory processes and KPIs
    • Collaborate with Head of Operations and Key Account Managers to streamline workflows

Requirements

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented team leader with:

  • Proven experience in inventory control in a warehousing or logistics environment
  • Strong strategic planning and demand forecasting skills
  • Experience mentoring staff or managing teams in a warehouse setting
  • A deep understanding of warehouse systems (WMS, storage solutions, AutoStore)
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail and problem-solving capability

Salary & Benefits

  • £53,000 p.a. plus car allowance
  • 40-hour work week, dual-site role (Corby & Hammers Hall)
