Site Team Leader - Inventory Management Service
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated, well-organised individual to work as a site Team Leader within our Inventory Management service.

Wansbeck General Hospital
Contract Type
This is a fixed term contract covering a secondment until August 2027.
Role Overview
The post holder will provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations for the Site Inventory Management team to ensure the provision of an inventory management service for a specific hospital site across Wards/Departments and Theatres environments within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure reordering and replenishing of stock
- Take receipt of deliveries
- Monitor stock levels
- Maintain minimal stock levels
- Rotate stock
- Track stock across multiple sites by onsite Inventory Co-Ordinators
- Manage sickness absence
- Compile staff rosters
- Assist in staff appraisals
- Conduct staff training
- Handle performance and disciplinary issues

The Inventory Team has overall responsibility for the provision of inventory services (excluding pharmacy) across Northumbria Healthcare Trust (NHCT).
