Inventory Tooling Coordinator

Tooling Coordinator

At Pratt & Whitney Canada (an RTX company), we’re a global aerospace leader shaping the future of aviation. Part of our Regional Customer Service Centre Network, our repair centre in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, is seeking a Tooling Coordinator to manage site tooling for our technical team.

Purpose of the Role

Ensure all tools are properly allocated, maintained, tracked, and calibrated to support technical operations. Drive efficiency in tooling processes from procurement to service, improving workflows. Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and cross-functional groups to maintain a streamlined tooling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Tool Inventory & Administration

  • Create, maintain, and allocate tool kits for various engines (e.g., Second PW617 Kit, Additional PW500 Tool Kit, PT6E Tool Kits).
  • Oversee new tool inducted into stock and the receipt/induction of parts for backup.
  • Update internal tooling database and resolve operational issues.

Tool Loans & Operational Processes

  • Assign and track tools for loan requests (customer-specific).
  • Execute Pilot Freight Project for tool movements and eWMS challenges.
  • Manage calibration certificates, ensuring tools are serviced by approved providers.
  • Address out-of-tolerance notifications, coordinating follow-up with calibration services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
