Are you an analytical, detail-focused professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insight? We are seeking an Investigations Analyst (IPP Accredited) to join Nottinghamshire Police.
🚀 What you'll do
- Conduct strategic, tactical and operational analysis to support policing priorities and investigations.
- Research and analyse complex information from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, risks and opportunities.
- Produce intelligence products, profiles, reports, briefings and presentations to inform decision-making.
- Support complex and large-scale investigations from intelligence development through to court proceedings.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations to support operational activity and resource allocation.
- Liaise with internal and external partners to gather, evaluate and share intelligence appropriately.
- Attend court as a professional witness, presenting analytical findings and supporting prosecutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across policing and partner agencies to enhance intelligence-led policing.

💡 What We’re Looking For
- Experience analysing and interpreting large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns and emerging risks.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, alongside specialist analytical software.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality analytical reports and professional briefing products.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to influence decision-making through evidence-based recommendations.
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) and willingness to work towards or maintain IPP accreditation.
- A professional, resilient and collaborative approach with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
