Investigations Quality Assurance Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Investigations Knowledge and Development team as a Quality Assurance Officer. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in quality assurance, regulatory oversight, investigations, compliance, risk, or other complex operational environments. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of assessing quality, identifying trends and risks, and driving continuous improvement through robust analysis and constructive feedback. This is a hybrid role.

The role

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing the quality, consistency and integrity of investigations across the Investigations directorate. Through the delivery of quality assurance activities, you will help ensure investigations are conducted in line with organisational standards, regulatory requirements, guidance and best practice.

  • Reviewing investigation files
  • Analysing quality assurance findings and identifying trends, risks and development opportunities
  • Providing valuable insight and assurance on the quality and consistency of investigation outcomes, supporting a culture of continuous improvement

In this important role, you will produce high-quality analysis and reports, highlighting areas of good practice, emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen processes. You will proactively assess whether investigation guidance and procedures remain current and effective, ensuring they continue to support regulatory objectives and operational excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
