Journalist

Type: Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Research, pitch, and develop original news stories, features, and in-depth articles.
  • Conduct interviews, gather firsthand insights, and verify facts using authoritative sources.
  • Create clear, compelling, and accurate written content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Edit and proofread articles to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards.
  • Collaborate with editors, designers, and other journalists to enhance content quality.
  • Monitor current events, trends, and issues relevant to assigned beats.
