BCCAP is a privately owned investment and property business based in Marylebone, with a collaborative team and a long-term approach to real estate and investment management.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused Investment Accountant to join our Property & Investment Finance team in London. This is a great opportunity to build your experience across real estate and private equity investments, supporting high-quality reporting, analysis and financial control. You’ll work closely with senior finance colleagues and stakeholders across the business, with exposure to management accounts, journals, development cost reporting, VAT, CIS, audit support and ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts for a variety of real estate and investment entities.
- Prepare month-end and quarter-end journals to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Review financial transactions, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is in place.
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary to support quarter-on-quarter movement in results.
- Assist with forecasting by liaising with asset managers, project managers and analysts.
- Upload quarterly figures to the Group Reporting team and support with consolidation queries.
- Manage reporting requirements and relationships with external partners.
- Support accurate coding, approval and review of invoices, including entity, cost centre, nominal code, VAT and CIS detail.
- Prepare reporting and analysis on development costs, including actual spend versus budget.
- Prepare VAT returns for review and support CIS compliance and return preparation.
- Assist with year-end packs, external audit queries, tax submissions and statutory accounts review.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting systems and controls.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and the wider business including joint venture partners to support smooth operations and timely reporting.

Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification

- Experience in real estate, property, investment management would be ideal.
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and management accounts experience.
- Confident Excel user, with experience using finance systems such as NetSuite, Yardi, MRI Qube or similar.
- Highly organised, accurate and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
