Are you an analytically minded investment professional looking to develop your expertise within credit and fixed income markets? An exciting opportunity has arisen within a highly regarded financial services institution for an Investment Analyst to join a growing investment team, supporting portfolio analysis, reporting, governance, and strategic investment initiatives.
The Opportunity
This role offers excellent exposure to credit portfolio analysis, investment reporting, and governance activities. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality analysis and management information that supports investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual credit reporting.
- Analyse credit portfolios and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain high-quality management information and reporting.
- Prepare and deliver reports for governance and internal control committees.
- Support investment governance meetings and collaborate with external stakeholders where required.
- Assist with ongoing investment-related projects and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory and conduct standards are maintained.
- Provide broader support to the investment function as required.

About You
We're looking for a motivated analyst with strong technical capabilities and a genuine interest in investment markets.
You'll ideally demonstrate:
- Prior experience in the investment sector
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Degree educated in a science / numerical based subject
- Working with large datasets, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to deliver accurate work within tight deadlines
- A desire to develop your technical investment knowledge and broaden your exposure across investment reporting and analysis

Skills & Experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments including bonds, equities, futures, and collective investment vehicles.
- Understanding of investment principles and financial analysis.
- Previous experience in an analytical role within investments, asset management, pensions, actuarial, finance, or accounting.
