Job Description: Client Communication & Content Creation Role

About the Role

Title: Support Specialist (Client Communications & Content Creation)

This role supports portfolio positioning, client communications, and content creation within a finance and wealth management team. You’ll work across investment analysis, client relations, and operational reporting, ensuring clear, accurate, and compelling communication with institutional investors.


Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Product Support

  • Support client queries on portfolio positioning, performance attribution, and market outlook.
  • Assist in developing client-facing materials, including:
    • Pitch books
    • Marketing presentations
    • Investment updates
  • Prepare materials for investor meetings and due diligence processes.
  • Collaborate with client teams to deliver timely, accurate responses to complex client inquiries.

Content Creation & Written Communications

  • Draft monthly fund commentaries and investment narratives for diverse client audiences.
  • Contribute to marketing materials, case studies, and thought leadership content.
  • Write product documentation, fact sheets, and investment strategy explanations.
  • Assist in drafting client correspondence and specialised investment reports (under supervision).

Wider Team Support

  • Maintain and distribute portfolio and performance dashboards for internal teams.
  • Support ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) activities, including:
    • Engagement follow-ups
    • ESG case studies
    • Integration of ESG considerations into client communications and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for client requests and materials.
  • Coordinate with Risk, Performance, RFP (Request for Proposal), and Data teams to ensure:
    • Timely and accurate reporting
    • Effective data and information flow
  • Work with multiple organisational teams to maintain system efficiency and data integrity.

Candidate Criteria

Required

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of fixed income markets.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal), with the ability to:
    • Simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
    • Build trust through clarity, transparency, and reliability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Team player able to:
    • Collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Embrace intellectual humility and constructive feedback.
  • Proactive mindset with:
    • Forward-thinking abilities to anticipate challenges/opportunities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
  • Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, with a clear career path in front-office roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
    • Data visualisation tools (for reporting and presentations).

Preferred

  • Enrolment in or completion of CFA Level I.
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Fixed income concepts (duration, yield to maturity, spread analysis).
    • Institutional asset management (investment objectives, risk tolerance, return requirements).
  • Experience creating presentations:
    • For client or senior executive meetings.
  • Automation/process efficiency skills in:
    • Streamlining data reporting/analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
  • Fluency in additional languages (useful for emerging markets).
