Investment Analyst Emerging Markets
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Product Support
- Support responses to client queries regarding portfolio positioning, performance attribution, and market outlook
- Help with developing client-facing materials including pitch books, marketing presentations, and investment updates
- Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings and due diligence processes
- Work with client teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to sophisticated client questions
Content Creation & Written Communications
- Prepare monthly fund commentaries and investment narratives for diverse client audiences
- Support creation of marketing materials, case studies, and thought leadership content
- Assist in developing product documentation, fact sheets, and investment strategy explanations
- Draft client correspondence and specialised investment reports under supervision
Wider Team Support
- Update and distribute portfolio and performance dashboards for the team
- Support the ESG activities of the team, including engagement follow-ups and preparing case studies
- Help integrate ESG considerations into client communications and reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Act as first point of contact with client teams on client requests and materials
- Coordinate with Risk, Performance, RFP and Data teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and data flow
- Work with other parts of the organisation to ensure data, systems and information flow is timely and correct
Candidate Criteria – Required
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a solid understanding of fixed income markets
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for different audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a group setting and across different teams
- Demonstrates intellectual humility and respect for others, with openness to feedback
- Established reputation for building trust through consistent delivery, transparent communication and reliable follow-through with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive mindset with forward-thinking abilities to anticipate challenges and opportunities
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
- A genuine interest in financial markets and a clear desire to build a career in the front office
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data visualisation tools for data analysis, reporting and creating compelling client presentations

Candidate Criteria – Preferred
- Enrolment in or successful completion of CFA Level I
- Basic knowledge of fixed income market concepts/principles, such as duration, yield to maturity, spread and other basic fixed income metrics
- Some familiarity and understanding of the institutional asset management client landscape, including concepts such as investment objectives, risk tolerance and return requirements
- Demonstrated experience creating presentation materials and content for client or senior executive meetings
- Experience automating or streamlining data processes to improve efficiency in reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to emerging markets
