On behalf of a London venture debt team, we are looking for a recently qualified ACA to work as an Investment Analyst. This role is designed for someone who wants to build deep credit judgement, advanced financial modelling capability and strong commercial insight early in their career.

As an Analyst, you will develop a rigorous understanding of venture debt underwriting while supporting the execution and monitoring of investments across our portfolio.

Your analysis will directly inform investment decisions, and you will contribute meaningfully to discussions alongside senior team members from an early stage. You will gain exposure to live transactions, portfolio monitoring and Investment Committee processes.

As a small team, Analysts receive close mentorship and regular feedback from senior investment colleagues. The typical progression path is Analyst to Associate, with increasing responsibility for underwriting, credit judgement and direct company interaction. We provide structured feedback and performance discussions to ensure clear development goals and visibility on progression. We hold high standards of analytical rigour and intellectual honesty in our investment work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
