Tamar Capital is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its London-based investment team.

Tamar Capital is a single-family office with offices in London, San Francisco and Beirut. As part of a small, nimble investment team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio and work across a wide range of investment opportunities. The role offers broad involvement throughout the investment lifecycle, providing varied experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution from an early stage in your career.

The successful candidate will support the investment team with market research, financial analysis, due diligence and portfolio monitoring, while developing a strong understanding of investment processes within a dynamic family office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, industry and company research.
  • Prepare financial models and investment analysis.
  • Assist with due diligence on prospective investment opportunities.
  • Analyse financial statements and business performance.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and investment papers.
  • Support portfolio monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
  • Up to two years' relevant experience, including internships or placement years.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • A genuine interest in investments, private equity and financial markets.
