Role Overview

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Secured Finance team. The successful individual will focus on analysing and recommending structured finance investments across the capital structure from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across a diverse opportunity set (CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS, etc).
  • Presenting findings to assist senior members of the team in making investment decisions.
  • Assisting senior members of the team with ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders as required, including but not limited to: Compliance, Legal, Risk, Investment Committee.
  • Support any other investment opportunities and investment management activities for the Secured Finance Group from time to time as required.

Experience Required

  • Ideally, experience at an asset management company or bank
  • Strong interest in Financial Markets
  • Strong investment analysis experience, with a background in the structured finance asset class preferred
  • Experience in Excel Modelling / VBA
  • Familiar with Bloomberg / Intex
  • Flexible and comfortable with changing priorities depending on workload
  • Execution and detail oriented whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to work well independently, and take direction as required
  • Highly quantitative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in technology and how tools such as AI can support internal processes and better outcomes for clients
