Role Overview
The Investment Associate will play a core role in executing Cloud Capital’s investment strategy, supporting all aspects of sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments. The role is highly analytical and commercially focused, with significant exposure to platform investments, add-on acquisitions, and portfolio value creation initiatives. The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams and will be given early responsibility across financial analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Researching, analyzing, and evaluating financial statements, industry information, technical and financial data of investment opportunities and presenting conclusions to the investment team members
- Developing and reviewing, stress testing financial models to analyze investment opportunities and valuation
- Performing due diligence on the investment opportunities
- Evaluating information provided by vendors, company management teams, and DD advisors and incorporating relevant information to Cloud Capital’s investment analysis
- Assisting in preparing and presenting investment recommendations to Cloud Capital’s investment committee
- Assisting with asset management responsibilities by analyzing and responding to industry and company specific questions from Directors of the portfolio companies
- Researching prospective investment opportunities and assisting in generating investment ideas for Cloud Capital
- Supporting the team on the fundraising activities

Requirements
Cloud Capital seeks to hire high-quality individuals who are motivated, intelligent, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Between 1.5 – 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or debt advisory
- Strong research, financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills
- A demonstrated ability to write and present effectively
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and business relationship skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Interest in data demand trends and digital infrastructure
- Professionalism and integrity
