About 16VC
16VC is an early-stage venture capital fund backing ambitious founders building the future of AI, SaaS, fintech, and emerging technologies. We partner with exceptional entrepreneurs from idea stage through early growth, providing capital, strategic guidance, and access to a global network.
We're looking for an Investment Associate who is curious, analytical, and passionate about startups. You'll work closely with the investment team to source opportunities, evaluate companies, and support founders throughout the investment process.

What You'll Do
- Source high-potential startups across AI, SaaS, fintech, and emerging technology sectors.
- Build relationships with founders, angel investors, accelerators, and startup communities.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry mapping.
- Perform financial and commercial due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Review pitch decks and prepare investment summaries.
- Support investment committee meetings with research and recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio companies and prepare performance updates.
- Represent 16VC at startup events, demo days, and founder communities.
- Help expand and maintain the firm's global deal pipeline.

What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate development, startup operations, or founder experience.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Passion for startups, innovation, and technology.
- Ability to evaluate business models and market opportunities.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus but not required).

Preferred Experience
- Experience evaluating early-stage startups.
- Knowledge of AI, SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software.
- Existing network within startup ecosystems, founders, or investors.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Notion, Airtable, or similar workflow platforms.
